A video of UFC fighters Brendan Allen and Marvin Vettori getting into a brawl at a casino on Friday night following a Professional Fighters League event circulated on social media early Saturday morning.

The video shows Allen hitting Vettori, who then appears to fall onto a roulette table:

Alex Behunin of MMA Mania reported that Vettori initially swung at UFC fighter Tuco Tokkos and missed, at which point Allen stepped in and attacked Vettori.

The incident reportedly occurred at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, where the 2024 PFL Playoffs: Light Heavyweights and Lightweights were being held.

In a post on X, Vettori claimed that the video was captured when he thought the fight was already over:

Marvin Vettori @MarvinVettori

Basically he gets caught on the spot, then he hides behind his guys, gets caught again in the chaos, then 10 people in between, and I think it's over, they let him, he charges at me and ends up getting caught again
All these one-armed
Real idiot 😂

Allen, 28, is a rising star in the UFC, winning seven straight fights. The South Carolinian native made his UFC debut in 2019 on Dana White's Contender Series and has compiled a career professional record of 24-5 with 14 wins by submission.

Vettori is a 30-year-old fighter from Italy who has been in UFC since 2016 and made his debut with a win over Alberto Uda at UFC 202.

His record is 19-7 and he has nine wins by submission, but he has struggled recently, losing two of his last three fights and three of his last five.

Vettori is perhaps best known for facing Israel Adesanya twice, losing to Adesanya via split decision in 2018 and then losing to him again via unanimous decision in a UFC middleweight title fight in 2021.

According to MMA Junkie's Matthew WellsAllen and Vettori were originally scheduled to face each other at UFC 240 in April, but Vettori pulled out due to injury and Allen instead faced Chris Curtis and defeated him via split decision.

After Allen defeated Curtis, Vettori criticized him on social media, writing, “Allen what the f*** are you calling for the title man? You look like a dog that got beat up every single round and prayed you could get the takedown just to hang on. That sh*t was embarrassing.”

According to Nolan King and Ken Hathaway of MMA Junkie, Allen later hit back, calling Vettori “irrelevant” and saying Vettori “didn't want to fight.”

A lot of animosity had obviously built up between Allen and Vettori over the past few months, and it now boiled over in Florida.
