Two-time Emmy and three-time NAACP Image Award winner and television executive producer Rushion McDonald interviewed Dewayne Johnson. Dewayne founded the Silverlining Project. The Silverlining Project's vision was born in 2020 and implemented as a nonprofit in 2024. Its mission is to empower, employ, and engage people from the IRPP, inmate reintegration, probation, and parole community. Our program is designed to provide resources such as clothing and toiletries, mental health and wellness services, transportation assistance, housing, job training, job placement, and financial literacy, all of which contribute to successful reintegration and a positive outcome. We do this through partnerships and collaborations with other professional agencies and businesses. Volunteers are always welcome; donations are needed to help in any area. We believe there is a silver lining in every situation.
