Armed car theft suspect arrested at gunpoint

DETAILS:

1. Officers responded to reports that three people attempted to enter a vehicle before pointing a gun to a victim's back.
2. Further reports indicated that three suspects had fled, two of whom were carrying firearms.
3. Officers arrived quickly and pointed out a suspicious vehicle.
4. Officers initiated a high-risk check and arrested the first suspect.
5. A second suspect, who was hiding in the trunk, eventually complied and was taken into custody.
6. The third suspect reportedly fled toward a nearby apartment complex.
7. Tracking dog units were requested to assist in the search.
8. The third suspect was found shortly afterwards.
9. A firearm was seized at the crime scene.
10. Radio traffic indicated that the suspect(s) may be involved in a car theft or robbery.
