D'Onta Foreman plays for the Browns weeks after his neck injury

CLEVELAND – D'Onta Foreman's twin brother Armanti happened to search social media for the name of the Browns' new running back and discovered a frightening message on Aug. 1.

Foreman suffered a neck injury when he took a blow to the head during a punt coverage practice at the Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. He felt a sharp pain in his back and reported it to medical personnel. He was immobilized on the field and eventually taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital.

“I was scared,” Foreman said Saturday night when he spoke to the media for the first time since his injury. “I was nervous. But they calmed me down and made me understand that it was all just a precautionary measure.”
