Jennifer Lopez joins viral TikTok trend 'Demure' to show off how she drinks cocktails; WATCH

Jennifer Lopez drinks “very discreetly, very mindfully” in a new video, and she doesn’t down it all!

The singer is the latest star to join the 'low key' trend to promote her cocktail brand, showing off her elegant demeanor while drinking.

On Friday, August 16, Lopez made a video for TikTok and Instagram promoting her cocktail brand Delola while summarizing her take on “low key.”

In the video, Lopez is seen sipping her Delola L Orange Spritz at a leisurely pace, as if to emphasize that the drink should not be swallowed down every drop, but rather enjoyed slowly. It is the embodiment of demure – a careful and elegant enjoyment of drinks.

JLo says in the clip: “See how I do it when I drink from the bottle? Very cautious, very careful. I don't just chug it down, I just don't drink it all the way down.”

Jools LeBron, who started the “modest” trend, was very happy that Jennifer Lopez got on board. She commented, “As a blonde Puerto Rican, I can't lie, this makes me sick.” Fans of the “Jenny from the Block” hitmaker were delighted to learn that she had embraced the “modest” lifestyle.

On Saturday, August 17, TikToker Lebron reacted to Jennifer Lopez's “desimure” video on social media. She wrote alongside the singer's clip: “JLO from the desimure block??”

This trend started when Jool Lebron showed how she prepared for work with mindfulness and grace, and it was copied across social media platforms. Recently, JLo herself has joined the trend.

LeBron posted about the singer and actress' participation in the trend on Saturday and expressed her joy on TikTok. She seemed amazed and extremely happy about her participation in the modesty, calling it an unexpected but exciting event.

Lopez isn't the only celebrity to jump on the low-key bandwagon. Others like Olivia Rodrigo, Bebe Rexha, SZA, Rumer Willis, and Lizzo have also embraced it. Even the White House hasn't been spared from this trend.

Later on August 13, Lizzo landed a video on Instagram in which SZA reportedly appeared “very sweet,” “very attentive,” and “modest.” A few days later, Olivia Rodrigo and Bebe Rexha also shared their own versions of “modest” content on their social media platform.

Even President Joe Biden got in on the act, talking about the recent student debt forgiveness on the White House Instagram account, in a way that matches the cautious and calm tone of the trend. The White House captioned it: “Forgiving nearly 5 million Americans' student debt through a variety of measures. Very thoughtful. Very low-key.”
