Royal Enfield model year 2016

As part of the 2016 model year, Royal Enfield may introduce new colours for its range of motorcycles, which include the Classic 350, Classic 500, Bullet Electra 350 and Bullet Standard 500 models.

The leaked presentation slides detail the changes to be introduced on these four models. The 2016 Bullet Electra will come in a new colour, Meridian Blue, and is currently available in Black, Silver and Red. The 2016 Classic 350 will be offered in a new colour, Chestnut Red, while the current options are Black, Silver, Ash, Maroon and Lagoon Blue.

The 2016 Classic 500 would be available in the new Squadron Blue colour, in addition to the existing Classic Black, Classic Silver and Classic Tan colours. The 2016 standard 500 would be offered in the new Athena Grey colour, in addition to the Black and Forest Green colours.

The MY2016 updates for the Thunderbird range and the Continental GT are yet to be announced. Royal Enfield is also gearing up for the launch of its adventure motorcycle – the Himalayan, which is expected to be launched in the first quarter of this year. Royal Enfield will not be participating in the Auto Expo 2016.
