Cristiano Ronaldo's sleeping gesture towards Al-Nassr teammates goes viral after defeat

Cristiano Ronaldo was frustrated after Al-Nassr's 4-1 defeat to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup final.

The Al-Nassr star's gestures towards his own teammates have gone viral on social media. In a video clip that has been widely shared on social media, Ronaldo can be seen making a sleeping gesture towards his teammates after Al Hilal scored four goals.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is still searching for his first domestic trophy with the Saudi club, having previously set a record for most goals scored in a season of the Saudi Pro League.

Al-Nassr led in the first half of the match with a goal scored by Cristiano Ronaldo in the 44th minute, but Al-Hilal came back strong and scored 4 goals in just 17 minutes, prompting Ronaldo to make this gesture.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic equalized for Al-Hilal. Later, Aleksandar Mitrovic put the team ahead with a goal in the 63rd minute and extended the lead in the 69th minute with his second goal of the match. Malcom's goal in the 72nd minute sealed the victory for Al-Hilal.

“We showed how good we are in the second half,” said Mitrovic.

“We had a few problems in the first half and then changed in the second half. We stayed calm and it feels good to win a trophy right at the start of the season,” he added.
