Filming location for the 5th and final season of “Yellowstone”: Monday filming in Pampa, extras wanted

PAMPA, Texas (KVII) — Pampa will appear in the fifth and final season of the popular TV show Yellowstone.

On Monday, August 19, a “small scene” will be filmed in Pampa. Casting directors are looking for extras with experience in the nursing/medical field.

The job pays $110 for 10 hours of work.

Pampa isn't the show's only stop in Texas. A concert scene featuring Lainey Wilson will be filmed in Fort Worth on September 3. Wilson, who is a country singer in real life, plays musician Abby in the fifth season.

The premiere of the second half of the final season will take place on November 10th. However, the original star Kevin Costner will not appear in the episodes.

“'Yellowstone' was really important in my life. I really loved that world and what we could do in five seasons,” Costner said in an interview with the Associated Press. “I thought it was only going to be one, but I did five. I was ready to do three more — five, six and seven — but it just didn't happen. Certain things happened and it just didn't happen.”
