Dispute over Applebee's “All You Can Eat” deal leads to woman's arrest

Earlier this month, a woman was arrested at an Applebee's restaurant in Portage, Indiana, after an argument over one of the company's “all-you-can-eat” offerings.

The 28-year-old woman was arrested on Aug. 2 and charged with disturbing the peace, according to a police report obtained by USA TODAY.

According to the arrest report, Portage Police officers were called to Applebee's on U.S. Highway 6211 at around 8:38 p.m. on Aug. 2 for a report of a “verbal disturbance.” Police dispatchers told officers they heard “several females screaming” and “threatening individuals,” one of the officers wrote in the arrest report.
