He found out that his wife was selling videos of her children's embarrassing moments as exclusive content on her TikTok account, and he thinks that's completely wrong

“Momfluencers” have gained popularity online in recent years, as many parents enjoy watching content they can identify with and gaining insight into the daily lives of other families.

However, several creators have also come under criticism because some believe that publishing content featuring children and private family moments for the purpose of building a platform and generating revenue goes too far.

This 32-year-old man recently noticed his wife doing the same thing on her “secret” TikTok account, and he finds it completely inappropriate.

To put it in context, he and his wife of 30 years have two children – an 8-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter. So she started posting videos online of her children doing “dumb things,” like singing their favorite songs out of tune or tripping over their toys.

His wife also once posted a video showing his son accidentally soiling a carpet because he couldn't find a toilet in time.

At first, he thought all of this content was harmless. Sure, it was a little “embarrassing,” but he didn’t think his wife was doing anything fundamentally wrong.

That was true, at least, until he discovered that his wife had actually been selling some of these “silly” videos to her followers as “exclusive content” on her TikTok account.

“I was shocked, to say the least,” he said.

He knows that his wife makes a lot of money from her TikTok platform. She even made enough to take the family on vacation, which he thinks is great.
