Fentanyl and meth found in drug raid at Carroll County home – 95.5 WSB

CARROLLTON, Georgia – A 58-year-old man is behind bars after police found illegal drugs in a Carrollton home.

Earlier this month, on August 1, Carrollton police obtained a search warrant for a home on Elder Circle as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Officials said this was evidence that 58-year-old Gregory Parks was allegedly selling illegal drugs, including fentanyl and methamphetamine.

During the search, investigators found fentanyl, methamphetamine, crack, oxycodone pills and marijuana in Carrollton. Investigators said they also found items related to drug trafficking.

Parks was arrested and charged with:

  • Sale of Fentanyl
  • Possession of fentanyl with the intent to resell
  • Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
  • Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
  • Possession of Schedule II controlled substances with intent to distribute

Carrollton Police are urging all citizens to report suspicious drug-related activity by leaving a tip on their website or app or by calling 770-834-4451.
