I-10 East closed after three-vehicle crash; one person in hospital with serious injuries

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) – I-10 East near Piedras is closed after a three-vehicle crash that left one person hospitalized with serious injuries.

El Paso police said special traffic investigators are investigating the accident.

According to police, the call came in at 2:26 a.m.

Police also said a second accident occurred at the scene involving an unoccupied police car that was helping direct traffic. No injuries were reported in that accident.

Traffic is currently leaving the building via the Dallas exit.
