ElevenLabs has reduced prices on its Turbo V2 and V2.5 models by 50% and introduced new pricing plans that benefit both self-service and enterprise customers.

ElevenLabs has announced a significant price cut for its Turbo V2 and V2.5 models. According to ElevenLabs, there are up to 50% discounts for both self-service and enterprise plans. This move is part of the company's initiative to pass on cost savings to customers while maintaining high quality and performance standards.

More content, less cost: Turbo models are 50% cheaper

Known for their ultra-low latency and high-quality audio, Turbo V2 and V2.5 models are now half price. This price reduction applies to all self-service plans and makes it more affordable for users to create content.

For self-service plans, Turbo models now cost just 0.5 credits per text character for text-to-speech services. For annual plans, users can upgrade for as little as $50 per million characters. In contrast, enterprise plans range in price from 0.5 to 1 credit per text character, depending on the volume-based discounts specified in their contracts. For larger enterprise customers, costs can drop even further, to as low as $15 per million characters.

It is important to note that these discounts apply exclusively to the Turbo models. The prices for the V1 English, V1 Multilingual and V2 Multilingual models remain unchanged at 1 credit per character of text.

Introduction of the new Scale Plan

In addition to the price reductions, ElevenLabs has introduced a new Scale plan to support user growth with Scalability and savings in mind. The new Scale annual plan includes:

  • Everything in the Pro Plan
  • 11 million credits per month
  • Three personal language clones
  • Turbo for $50 per million characters
  • Priority Support
  • Price: $1,100 per month

Customers on the existing tariff will continue to benefit from the new Turbo prices, while the rest of their pricing plan will remain unchanged.

Market impact and customer reaction

ElevenLabs' decision to reduce prices and introduce new plans is intended to make its services accessible to a wider range of users, from small businesses to large enterprises. The price cuts are particularly significant for customers who rely heavily on text-to-speech technology for applications such as conversational AI and other demanding uses.

With the launch of the Scale plan, ElevenLabs aims to serve growing businesses that require extensive content creation capabilities. The new plan's features, including priority support and personal voice clones, are designed to provide additional value to users scaling their operations.

This strategic move by ElevenLabs reflects a broader trend in the AI industry, where companies are increasingly relying on affordability and scalability to attract and retain customers. By reducing costs and improving service offerings, ElevenLabs is positioning itself as a competitive player in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
