Video shows woman shooting at family during alleged driving aggression incident

MESA, Ariz. (KPHO/Gray News) – Video shows a woman firing a gun at another car with a family inside during an alleged driving aggression incident in Arizona.

On Friday, 24-year-old Alyssa Soto was arrested by police. She is accused of several serious crimes.

The video of the alleged driving aggression incident was recorded by the victim's Tesla.

The video reportedly shows Soto in a black SUV, rolling down her window and screaming while stopped at a red light.

After an argument, the traffic light turned green and both cars drove off. Soto then allegedly pulled out a gun and shot at the victim's car.

The victim's wife and his 19-month-old child were also in the car.

Fortunately, no one was hit or injured by the bullet.

According to court documents, Soto's child was also with her at the time of the incident.

The victim called the police and showed detectives the video that was used to identify Soto.

Investigators said they found a shell casing and a bullet near the intersection and, during a search, recovered the weapon used in the shooting at Soto's home.

After her arrest, Soto told police that the victim had cut her off and hit her car.

Soto told police she “didn't mean to hurt anyone, but was so angry and frustrated that she decided to shoot the other vehicle with her gun,” court documents state.

Authorities say the victim's car was not damaged, but Soto's vehicle did have damage, although it is not clear if the damage was caused in this incident.
