Paris Hilton ‘safe’ after unusual fire during music video shoot

Paris Hilton is devastated after her trailer was destroyed by fire during the filming of the music video for her new song “Bad Bitch Academy”.

The prominent CEO addressed the “heartbreaking” accident in an Instagram story on Friday and posted a picture of a burnt-out trailer along with a message of thanks.

“Unfortunately, a fire accidentally broke out in my trailer today on the set of my music video,” Hilton wrote. “As heartbreaking as it is, I am so thankful that everyone is safe and I am incredibly grateful for the incredible support I have around me.”

The star also thanked the music video's director, Hannah Lux Davis, as well as fellow celebrities Heidi Klum, Meghan Trainor and Lance Bass. As Entertainment Weekly noted, Trainor appears on Hilton's song “Chasin',” while Klum and Bass may appear in the music video for “Bad Bitch Academy.”

However, Hilton did not provide any details about the cause of the fire.

In a second story post, she showed her fans some of the charred items recovered from her trailer.

“This is not how I imagined shooting my music video for 'Bad Bitch Academy' would go,” she wrote alongside a broken heart emoji.

On Saturday, the “Stars Are Blind” singer shared an Instagram video post surveying the damage, revealing in the post's caption that “all of my favorite sunglasses, shoes, handbags, jewelry, computers, cameras, phones, and so much more” were destroyed in the accident.

“It's heartbreaking to see so many of my favorite things destroyed,” she wrote, adding, “But thankfully everyone is safe and doing well and that's all that matters.”

The star found a way to laugh about the fire, ending her message by saying, “We hope the second day of filming 'Bad Bitch Academy' will be a little less turbulent,” and promoting her new album, “Infinite Icon,” which is set to be released in September.
