Road rage in Delhi: Security guard stabbed to death – manhunt for accused continues – Delhi News

A security guard was stabbed to death in a case of driving aggression in the Karol Bagh area of ​​central Delhi, police said on Sunday.

According to police, a scooter rider was stabbed to death in an incident of road rage in Karol Bagh's Regar Pura area. After the stabbing, the accused fled the scene.

“The police control room received the first information about the stabbing on Saturday evening around 12 noon. Immediately after receiving the information, a police team arrived at the scene and shifted the injured victim Manoj Sharma to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment,” police said.

According to the information, the Delhi Police has registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), which includes murder, among other charges.

Manoj Sharma was working as a security guard and was riding his scooter to a restaurant to get some food around midnight on Saturday.

When Manoj Sharma reached the Regar Pura area, his scooter hit a person. The two got into an argument over this, after which the accused stabbed the victim and fled the scene.

According to police sources, the accused has been identified and the police team is continuously searching different areas to arrest him.
