Suspect arrested in connection with shooting of man in front yard of Cobb County home – WSB-TV Channel 2

COBB COUNTY, Georgia – Cobb County Police have arrested a man who allegedly shot his victim outside a home in Austell.

Police said they were called to a call about a person shot at 2456 Clay Road in Austell at 10:37 a.m. Saturday morning.

When they arrived, they found a victim, identified as 26-year-old Pablo Alejandro Sandoval of Kennesaw, lying on his back in the front yard with a gunshot wound to the chest.

The Austell Fire Department arrived at the scene and rendered aid, but Sandoval succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

During the investigation into the shooting, police arrested 39-year-old Anthony Alex McDuffie of Marietta.

He is currently in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center and is charged with manslaughter and weapons offenses.
