Jayson Tatum and Matthew Tkachuk throw the first pitch and recreate a viral photo at the Cardinals game

This spring, two former classmates at Chaminade Prep High School in St. Louis were inching closer to stardom in their respective sports, and as they did so, a photo of the two together quickly went viral on social media. While Matthew Tkachuk and the Florida Panthers were inching closer to the Stanley Cup, Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics were chasing an NBA title of their own.

That's why this photo of the two was a very popular motif this spring:

On Sunday, the two were together again in St. Louis and were invited to throw out the first pitch before the St. Louis Cardinals' game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Of course, they brought some equipment with them for the occasion:

Tatum and Tkachuck even recreated this photo from their preparation time at the baseball stadium:

Even better? The student sitting behind them in the photo spent a day at the stadium with the duo and was also involved in recreating the photo:

This just goes to show: Be nice to everyone you meet at school.
