Update on day 317: Including children, dozens dead and injured in Gaza |

On Sunday, the 317th day of the ongoing genocide against Palestinians in the devastated Gaza Strip, the Israeli army continued bombing and shelling various parts of the coastal enclave, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including women and children. An Israeli army sniper shot and wounded Palestinian journalist Salma Qaddoumi in Khan Younis.

In Jabalia, northern Gaza, the army fired rockets at two apartments in the Zayyan building on Al-Hoja Street in the Jabalia refugee camp, killing more than four Palestinians and injuring many more as rescue teams continue to search under the rubble.

In addition, five Palestinians were killed and fifteen injured when the army fired a rocket at a house in the Nusseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Medical sources said the army fired a rocket at the Sa'idi family's house in Block C of the refugee camp, adding that the five Palestinians killed and fifteen injured were taken to Al-Awda Hospital in the refugee camp.

The sources also said that four Palestinians were killed and many injured, including numerous children and women, when the army fired a rocket at another house in the refugee camp.

In addition, many Palestinians, including children and women, were killed or injured when the army fired rockets at several houses and areas east of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza before medics rushed to the area and took the people to Al-Aqsa Hospital.



The army also fired a rocket at an apartment on Al-Mazra'a Street in Deir Al-Balah, killing a Palestinian mother and her six children.

In Khan Younis in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired live ammunition at Palestinians near Hamad City, northwest of Khan Younis, killing one woman and injuring several Palestinians.

In the town of Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, the army killed four Palestinians and injured six after bombing the Mosbeh family home.

In addition, an Israeli army sniper shot Palestinian journalist Salma Qaddoumi in the back as she was reporting on the military invasion and bombing of Khan Younis in the northwest.

In addition, an Israeli tank drove at high speed towards a group of Palestinian journalists and fired live ammunition at them as they fled in Khan Younis.

Two Palestinians were killed and many injured when an Israeli military drone fired a missile at Palestinians in the Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah in the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said its fighters fired grenades at more than 10 Israeli soldiers in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood south of Gaza City. The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, said it fired grenades at soldiers and tanks in the town of All-Qarara, north of Khan Younis.

Israel has now killed at least 40,099 Palestinians, including more than 16,365 children and 11,012 women, and injured more than 92,609. In addition, thousands of Palestinians in the devastated Gaza Strip are still lying under the rubble of bombed houses and buildings, on destroyed streets and alleys, without doctors and rescue teams being able to reach them.
