“NCIS” and “Criminal Minds” actor Gabriel Olds charged with sexual assault

The recurring actor may face serious charges and a severe sentence.

A recurring actor who appeared in NCIS: Secret Service Stories, Criminal Minds, law and orderand other series were arrested on seven counts of sexual assault. According to KCAL News, 52-year-old Gabriel Olds was arrested on seven counts of rape, including three counts of forcible rape, one count of sodomy, one count of rape of an unconscious or sleeping person, and charges of assault with intent to commit a felony.

According to the source, all of the victims told authorities that Olds allegedly lured them into “a false sense of security” after initially arranging to meet them through dating apps or his status as a Yale graduate with ties to the film industry. The women then claimed Olds became violent without consent.

Investigators reported identifying three of the women assaulted by Olds, and two others who reported less sexual behavior. “We heard the same story over and over again,” Detective Brent Hopkins told the outlet. “Mr. Olds was charming at first, but then he used brutal force to carry out these rapes. Some of these survivors suffered in silence for years before finding the strength to speak out. Now that he's off the streets, we want to make sure everyone has a chance to be heard.”

The LAPD is still looking for any other witnesses or victims connected to Olds. The former actor's bail has been set at $3.5 million. Olds' last role was in the Oscar-winning The eyes of Tammy Fayewhere he played the televangelist Pat Robertson. He also appeared in episodes of FBI: International And The newcomer: Feds.
