Woman dies in semi-trailer accident in Webster County

A Rockwell City woman was killed early Sunday morning when her car crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming tractor-trailer. According to the Iowa State Patrol accident report, Sasha Brown, 30, of Rockwell City, was traveling westbound on County Road D-20 at the curve of Hayes Avenue in Webster County at about 3:15 a.m. Brown's 2010 GMC Acadia crossed the center line and collided with an eastbound 1995 Peterbilt tractor-trailer. Brown was killed in the crash. According to the Iowa State Patrol accident report, Sasha Brown, 30, of Rockwell City, was traveling westbound on County Road D-20, on the curve of Hayes Avenue in Webster County, at about 3:15 a.m. Brown's 2010 GMC Acadia crossed the center line and struck an eastbound 1995 Peterbilt semi-trailer.

Brown died in the accident. The driver of the semi-trailer was examined at the scene by paramedics and released.
