Vermilion County Crime Stoppers | Police seek woman in connection with Danville home invasion | Courts-Police-Fire

DANVILLE – Danville Police are asking the public for information about a home invasion that occurred last week.

Danville police are investigating a burglary and property damage incident that occurred Thursday in the 200 block of Nicklas Street. Investigators want to speak with Leather N. Lipscomb, 38, who was apparently last seen driving a two-tone, dark-colored Chevy Silverado.

Danville police ask anyone with information about Lipscomb's whereabouts to contact Vermilion County Crime Stoppers at 217-373-TIPS, vccrimstoppers.org or through the P3 Tips mobile app.

When contacting Crime Stoppers, whistleblowers always remain 100% anonymous and receive a code number to verify the rewards.

All personal data is electronically deleted from all tips submitted to Crime Stoppers and the tips are processed by an external answering machine.

For information leading to an arrest, informants can receive a reward of up to $1,000 without revealing their name or appearing in court.

Rewards are also available for information regarding other serious crimes or fugitives in Vermilion County.
