Man 'wins' bar fight in northwest Harris County with stabbings

HOUSTON — Investigators are looking into how a bar fight late Sunday night that left a man stabbed in northwest Harris County erupted despite allegedly having the upper hand.

It happened around 2 a.m. at Rabbits Got The Gun on FM 1960. There, deputies from Harris County's 4th Precinct arrived and found an unidentified man stabbed to death.

It's unclear what led to the fight, but investigators said they arrested the man's attacker and his cousin (an unidentified woman). Preliminary information indicates the fight had something to do with the attacker's cousin, but deputies did not elaborate. We do know, according to the Fourth Precinct Captain, that the man “won” the bar fight before he was stabbed.

He was then taken to hospital in an unknown condition.

The investigation into the incidents is not yet complete.
