Atlanta Braves News: Austin Riley injured, series win against Angels, more

On the field, it was a successful Sunday for the Braves, who won their second consecutive series in the West and ended their road trip with a convincing 3-1 victory over the Angels.

But of course, it's never that easy to celebrate success this season. Instead of a positive day off when the Braves are fully focused on the Phillies in Atlanta, all eyes are on Austin Riley. Riley left the first inning of Sunday's game against the Angels because a fastball hit him in the hand.

Hopefully there will be more news on Monday and that the trend of one of Atlanta's best players being out for an extended period of time doesn't continue. The Braves can certainly look forward to some luck with injuries.
