Lainey Wilson counters social media troll in hilarious video

With all the awards and honors Lainey Wilson has already received, it is apparently that the reigning CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year can sing and put on a damn good live show.

However, not everyone can see that. But Wilson was quick to put an internet hater in his place over the weekend.

Wilson shared a funny video on Instagram in which she stands up to a troll in a funny and cheeky way.

The video shows a comment someone made on her profile about her singing skills.

“She dances better than she sings, maybe it's better to stick with that,” the person said.

Wilson told Taste of Country Nights“Evan Paul has said in the past that there will always be haters and you just have to keep going and do what you do best. But sometimes she just can't help it.

She handled it in the funniest way possible – by doing what the troll said she does best: dancing!

In the hilarious video, it looks like Wilson is standing on a sound stage, possibly rehearsing for a series of performances on her “Cool Again” country tour. The “Hang Tight Honey” singer reads the comment in question into the camera.

Then she goes back, points to the camera and says, “Thanks, brother. Thanks, Johnny.”

Then she starts a funky breakdance that resembles the viral Olympics breakdance meme:

In the middle of her dance spectacle, Wilson looks into the camera and says cheekily: “How about this? Do you like it?”

The “Heart Like a Truck” strikes one last proverbial beat at the end of the video: She comes very close to the camera and says: “God bless you.”

It's a great example of how to deal with a hater in a classy and hilarious way.
