Authorities hold press conference to seek clues in 2021 Baytown vigil shooting

Almost three years after the fatal shooting at a vigil in Baytown, investigators are asking the public for new information at a press conference today.

On Monday, the Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit and Crime Stoppers will hold a press conference at 10 a.m. at the Crime Stoppers of Houston building to ask for the public's help in identifying the suspects responsible for the tragic murder of 25-year-old Disha Allen.

What happened?

On December 12, 2021, during a candlelight vigil in Baytown, a dark-colored limousine drove past a gathering of about 50 people on the North Market Loop and fired over 20 shots into the crowd. Disha Allen was killed and 13 others were injured in the senseless attack. Despite an extensive investigation, the case remains unsolved.
