From 8 to 14 August there was:

• 871 service calls
• 10 arrests
• 14 traffic accidents
• 41 crime reports recorded

Notable incidents:

• On August 14, a driver stopped his car in the 3300 block of Pacific Avenue when he realized he had a flat tire. While changing the tire, the driver heard his car door open and another person enter the car. The suspect stole several electronic devices before running to a waiting vehicle and fleeing. No further information was available.
