Viral TikTok content creator angers many with Vegas buffet video

Mister Lewis, who is known for buying the most expensive things he can find wherever he goes, recently visited the all-you-can-eat lobster buffet at Palms. The specialty buffet, which runs two days a week and costs $79.99, features lobster and snow crab and was the center of attention in his recently shared TikTok video. And not because the price is great, but because of what he does there.

As he leaves the buffet area with two plates full of whole lobsters, he drops one on the floor but continues walking. At the table, he is approached by a buffet employee who explains the rules to him.

“When you're done with that, you can have more lobster,” he said, pointing to a table full of uneaten lobsters. Lewis interrupted, saying, “The rules say I have to finish a plate before I go back to the buffet.”

A sign at the buffet reads: “One per plate.”

Then another guest joined the conversation and criticized Lewis' ignorance of how to behave at a lobster buffet.

Throw away plates of untouched lobsters

The video then shows Lewis eating some of the lobsters that were on his table, but obviously not all of them.

“The casino that takes all your money has a problem with me taking lobsters at will?” he asked cheekily. “Stop playing with me.”

He then explained that he was visiting the Palms in Vegas to “show you guys the good places,” and then explained what was going on with the table full of lobsters and the manager's visit to his table. He said he would get a piece, go back to his table, and then come back for more.

“This deal is definitely worth it, but the way they treated me made me want to leave immediately,” he said after indulging in a lobster.

Then he did the unthinkable: he threw plates of untouched lobsters into the kitchen garbage. His viewers didn't like that.

Although the video was viewed more than 2.2 million times and received 15,000 comments, the general mood was outrage and disappointment.

“The restaurant should take legal action,” one person wrote, with 10,000 others liking the post. Another viewer wrote, “You can be rich and kind and humble at the same time.”

As someone pointed out, “The principle is 'as much as you can eat', not 'as much as you can throw away'.”

Another viewer shared a personal story of once experiencing something similar. “The last time I was at AYCE, we saw a gentleman and his son do the exact same thing and leave no lobster for anyone else, so my wife persuaded four other tables to sit at his table.”

Share “My most expensive dinner yet” on TikTok

A day after the lobster video, Lewis talked about his meal at X Pot in Vegas, claiming it was his “most expensive dinner yet.”

Regardless of what he showed in this video, the eyes of many viewers were clearly focused on the Hummer fiasco.

“This guy should have taken all the lobsters he threw away and walked around Las Vegas feeding the homeless. That would have gotten more views for sure,” one viewer suggested.

Another person shared: “So no lobster to throw away.” Another said: “Don't follow him anymore after the lobster debacle.”

People are still angry about the Hummer stunt

A few days after the lobster stunt, Mr Lewis shared another TikTok video, but for many, anger over the waste of all those lobsters is still at the forefront.

While he was enjoying what he said was a $250,000 dinner at Papi Steak in the Fontainebleau, some viewers were still upset about the lobster and told Lewis so.

“Yeah my family didn't get lobster because of you,” one person wrote in the comments. Another added, “The lobster video left us feeling insecure, no joke I can't watch it the way I did before.” Another commented, “You're going to throw that steak away too.”
