Hughes Brothers expected to be cover athletes of NHL 25 after leaked trailer

Quinn, Jack and Luke Hughes are expected to be the cover athletes of NHL 25 after EA Sports NHL released and promptly deleted a reveal trailer on its official YouTube channel.

In the trailer, the three brothers describe their love of hockey while performing drills using green screen motion technology, interwoven with new gameplay updates and features.

Barring any last minute changes, EA's decision to choose the Hughes brothers as cover athletes is a strong one. All three are great players and very marketable. Plus, having three brothers in the NHL is a great story and will make for a compelling cover.

Quinn is the reigning Norris Trophy winner and captain of the Canucks, while Luke was nominated for the Calder Trophy this season. Jack is the Devils' alternate captain and one of the league's best young players.

This would be the first time an EA Sports NHL game has three players on the cover.

The end of the trailer contains pre-order information and bonuses for Hockey Ultimate Team.

EA Sports NHL has not commented on the accidentally released video.
