Imran Khan applies from prison to be Chancellor of Oxford University

Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan appears to have his eye on the position of Chancellor of Oxford University.

Khan submitted his application on Sunday as the former cricketer is also a graduate of Keble College, Oxford.

The Oxford-educated former Prime Minister of Pakistan will run for Chancellor of his alma mater in the UK via online voting from his prison cell.

Khan studied economics and politics at Keble College, Oxford in 1972.

Khan, 71, has been in prison since August 2023 after being arrested and partially convicted in several cases. The longest sentence so far was nine years.
