New video aims to provide further clues to Phoenix 2021 murder investigation

PHOENIX (AZFamily) – Recently released surveillance videos from Phoenix police are said to provide new clues in a murder case.

On June 8, 2021, Dannielle “Danni” Coscino, then 32, was shot and killed near 9th Ave. and Hadley Street.

The released surveillance video shows two suspects, described by police as black men, approaching Danni before the murder.

“It’s been three years, but I’m still waiting for her call,” said Danni’s mother, Sue Coscino-Diaz.

Sue says Danni lit up a room, loved dancing and loved her family.

“I miss her just as much now as I did three years ago when I found out. It's not getting any easier,” she said.

More than three years after her murder, Danni's family is still searching for answers.

They hope this newly released video can help them find answers to what happened that night and get justice.

“Hopefully sooner or later we will get justice and we can get this resolved because it hurts and it's terrible that we've come to this point in three years,” said Danni's daughter Rian Coscino.

Anyone with information about who the two suspects in the surveillance video are or who has additional details about Danni's death is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (948-6377).
