“Resevoir Dogs” actor Michael Madsen arrested for domestic violence

The actor, known for his portrayal of violent men, was arrested at his home in California.

Reservoir Dogs Actor Michael Madsen was arrested for domestic violence, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed.

The 65-year-old US actor was arrested at his home in Malibu, California and has since been released from custody on bail of $20,000 (18,000 euros).

The authority told the press that it had sent officers to investigate a “family dispute.” A woman had allegedly been forced out of her apartment by her husband and locked out.

Madsen married his third wife, DeAnna Morgan, in 1996. He is known for his work in several films by Quentin Tarantino, including Reservoir Dogs, Kill BillAnd The hateful eight.

He also appeared in the FreeWilly Films and Thelma and Louise, Sin CityAnd Donnie Brasco. It was during the filming of Donnie Brasco that he met Morgan.

Madsen has three children with Morgan, as well as three children from Madsen's previous marriages.

Madsen was previously arrested for trespassing in 2022.

While Madsen has not responded directly to the situation, a spokesperson for the actor issued a statement to Variety saying, “This was a disagreement between Michael and his wife that we hope will be resolved in a positive way for both of them.”
