Residents are shocked after an incident at a North Andover home leaves two people dead – Boston 25 News

NORTH ANDOVER, Massachusetts – Residents of a North Andover neighborhood are waking up with many questions Tuesday after an incident at a North Andover home left two people dead Monday.

Emergency workers rushed to a home on Turnpike Street found the two victims, one of whom was pronounced dead and another with serious injuries, the Essex District Attorney's Office said. The injured person was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was also eventually pronounced dead.

District Attorney Paul Tucker said the incident was confined to the home and there was no danger to the public.

People who live and work in the area told Boston 25 they have seen police officers at the house for the past two weeks. They say whatever happened, it is disturbing.

“It's scary. It's scary to experience this in a town like North Andover. It just shows you where you live. It doesn't matter where you live. This kind of thing can happen anywhere,” Katrina MacLean told Boston 25.

Residents were shocked by the large police presence in this normally quiet town.
