Steuben County man charged with attempted murder – Finger Lakes Daily News

A Steuben County man is charged with attempted murder for an incident that occurred over the weekend.

Michael Bloom is accused of violating a protective order against his ex-girlfriend and shooting her new boyfriend outside a Hornell home on Sunday. Bloom, 33, is accused of firing a gun in the street.

In addition to attempted murder, Bloom is also charged with criminal use of a firearm, criminal contempt, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon by a person with a prior conviction, according to WETM TV in Elmira.
