Two out-of-towners arrested at Phish Festival | Latest from WDEL News

Men from Maryland and Michigan have court dates in Delaware after they were arrested at the Phish Mondegreen Festival in Dover over the weekend.

Delaware State Police said 26-year-old William Urspruch of Chestertown, Maryland, was charged with hitting one emergency medical technician and biting another.

Police said medical personnel examined him on Friday evening, August 16, 2024, because he was under the influence of alcohol and behaving erratically.

He was released on $3,000 secured bail.

Douglas Gallagher, 41, of Michigan, was arrested Saturday afternoon after security personnel informed police that he suspected he had drugs in his vehicle.

Police said they found various drugs at Gallagher's campsite, including ketamine, LSD, ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms.

He was released on $5,250 secured bail.
