Jasmine Crockett references her viral MTG insult while slandering Trump

Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas attacked Donald Trump on Monday at the Democratic National Convention. In her speech, she referred to an incredible insult that she had previously hurled at Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-TASS).

“The question before us is: Will a vengeful, vile villain hurt the voters' vision for a better America or not?” Crockett said to cheers and applause from the Chicago audience. “I hear alliteration is back in fashion.”

The alliterative criticism was reminiscent of a controversial hearing of the House Oversight Committee in May, during which Crockett and Greene took jabs at each other.

The MAGA congresswoman insulted what she described as Crockett's “fake eyelashes,” which later led Crockett to use the infamous phrase “bleach blonde, poorly built butch body” in reference to Greene.

Crockett told the Daily Beast at the time that she viewed Greene's eyelash batting as racist, a claim that was refuted by a spokesperson for the Georgia congresswoman. Both lawmakers have since invoked Crockett's slur online, to the delight of their respective supporters.

“Yes, my body is built and strong NOT by nipples, lifts, plastic or silicone, but by living a healthy lifestyle,” Greene captioned an Instagram video of herself lifting weights a few days after the committee hearing. Crockett, for her part, promised to launch a “Crockett Clapback Collection” featuring “various swag” to raise money to help “make sure we have a Democratic House of Representatives.” Her announcement included a mock T-shirt with the alliterative insult.

On Monday, Crockett spoke about how she went viral “many times” for “showing Republicans a taste of their own medicine.” She also attacked Trump with a series of pithy attacks, comparing him to Vice President Kamala Harris.

“She became a prosecutor while he became a career criminal,” Crockett said. “With 34 crimes, two impeachments and a porn star as evidence!”

“She lived the American dream when he was America's nightmare,” Crockett continued. “America, if you look at the two options, who would you hire? Donald Trump or Kamala Harris? Kamala Harris has a resume – Donald Trump has a criminal record.”
