Warrenville man charged with assault/attempted murder and other charges

WARRENVILLE, SC (WRDW/WAGT) – A man has been charged with assault/attempted murder, kidnapping and other charges in Warrenville, the Aiken County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

On August 18, according to authorities, William Rodney Price forcibly took a person's vehicle by pointing a gun to their head and ordering them to get out of the car on Ralph Green Drive.

The victim told authorities that he also hit them in the head with a gun, causing a bleeding laceration, before driving away.

Another victim told authorities that Price kidnapped her and locked her in the stolen vehicle without allowing her to leave.

Authorities said he also struck her in the head with a pistol, causing cuts, and fired a gun at her as she tried to flee from Price.

Both victims also stated that they feared for their lives.

According to jail records, Price, 30, was charged with assault or attempted murder, kidnapping, aggravated domestic violence and auto theft.

In 2018, we reported that Price was charged and arrested in connection with a murder on Horseshoe Bend Road in Aiken County.
