Man arrested for drunk driving after early morning motorcycle accident

FARGO, ND (Valley News Live) – A 35-year-old Fargo man was arrested for drunken driving after he crashed his motorcycle late Monday night.

According to Fargo police, officers were called to the 1800 block of 13 1/2 St. S shortly before midnight on August 19 for a report of an accident involving a single motorcycle and a man lying on the ground.

Authorities say when officers arrived, they found the motorcycle and the man, identified as Colt Miller, running away from the scene of the crash. When officers spoke with Miller, he denied driving the motorcycle, but a nearby witness identified Miller as the driver.

According to officials, Miller was uncooperative and was transported to a local medical facility for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Miller was arrested for driving under the influence, driving while license suspended and refusal to permit to operate.
