Local gas prices fall for second week in a row

After two months of steady increases, gas prices in our region have fallen significantly in the past week.

According to the AAA Gas Prices website, Manitowoc County saw its biggest drop since last week, dropping 12 cents to $3.24 per gallon, making the county the second most expensive fuel in the region.

Meanwhile, Sheboygan County saw a six-cent drop, while Calumet County's average price fell four cents. Both counties are now at $3.28 per gallon.

Outagamie County also saw a six-cent decrease to $3.22, while Brown County's average price fell eight cents to $3.25.

Drivers in Kewaunee and Door counties will pay an average of ten cents less at the pump this week, at $3.29 and $3.31 per gallon, respectively.

The state average is also $3.31, down eight cents from last week, while the national average is down four cents to $3.40.
