CLARIFICATION

Referring to an article titled “UVFA: Four people rescued in two Lake Mendocino incidents” in the Saturday, August 17, 2024 edition of the Ukiah Daily Journal, the owner of a boat that sank in the lake on August 16 disputed the Ukiah Valley Fire Authority's report that the boat sank due to a forgotten plug, noting that when the boat was recovered, the “plug was intact and the hull was cracked.”
