THIS ALL HAPPENED AT VINE AND GREEN STREET. CINCINNATI POLICE SAY SHE HAS LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES. WLWT NEWS FIVE'S LINDSEY STONE IS LIVE FROM THE SCENE. LINDSEY, WHAT EXACTLY CAN YOU TELL US? SO, RIGHT NOW WE'RE PRETTY FAR FROM THE SCENE, BUT IT'S VERY ACTIVE HERE, CHRIS. YOU CAN SEE BEHIND ME WHERE ALL THE POLICE IS CONCENTRATED A LITTLE FURTHER DOWN VINE STREET, 1700 BLOCK. NOW WE WERE THE FIRST TEAM ON THE SCENE HERE. WE WATCHED ANOTHER AMBULANCE LEAVING THE SCENE WITH FLASHERS AND SIRENS ON. IN ADDITION, THE PERSON WE KNOW WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL WITH SERIOUS INJURIES. WE KNOW IT WAS A FEMALE. WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY UPDATE INFORMATION ON HER CONDITION OR THE AGE OF THE PERSON. BUT AS YOU MENTIONED, WE KNOW THESE ARE LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES. WE HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO TALK TO THE POLICE YET. THIS IS A VERY ACTIVE PLACE. THEY ARE WORKING RIGHT NOW TO TALK TO EVERYONE IN THE AREA. YOU SEE A LOT OF PEOPLE HERE ON THE STREET ASKING US QUESTIONS AND CHALLENGING WHAT'S GOING ON. WE KNOW A LOT OF NEIGHBORS ARE A LITTLE ANNOYING RIGHT NOW. THIS JUST HAPPENED. WE SAW SOME PEOPLE WALKING THEIR DOGS TONIGHT. THEY ARE GETTING READY TO GO TO SLEEP AND WE KNOW THEY HAVE A LOT OF QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD. WE ARE TRYING TO GET THOSE ANSWERS, CHRIS. One person was hospitalized following a shooting Monday night in Over-The-Rhine. According to Cincinnati police, a woman is currently at UC Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
