DNC delegates get their own playlist while voting for Harris

During the ceremonial roll call of the Democratic Party Convention, music celebrated pride in both the nation and the state.

As Democratic delegates announced their votes for Vice President Kamala Harris, record producer DJ Cassidy played a separate song for each state.

The delegates from Tennessee rocked to Dolly Parton's “9 to 5,” while Texas took to the dance floor with TEXAS HOLD 'EM by Houston native Beyoncé.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul boasted about the Empire State's historical significance by comparing it to Jay Z and Alicia Keys' “Empire State Of Mind.” California Governor Gavin Newsom later praised the Golden State by comparing it to a mashup of Tupac Shakur's “California Love Song” and Kendrick Lamar's “Not Like Us.”
