VirtualBox 7.1 Beta 2 released for this major Oracle virtualization update

Last month, Oracle released its virtualization software version VirtualBox 7.1 Beta 1. This new version brings a modernized user interface, Wayland clipboard sharing, and other improvements. Yesterday, the second beta of this major VirtualBox update was released.

VirtualBox 7.1 represents a major step forward for this Oracle virtualization software with its “modernized look and feel,” updated Qt toolkit, OCI improvements, a new NAT engine with IPv6 support, ARM virtualization on macOS ARM hosts for Linux/BSD VMs, Wayland clipboard sharing, better screen recording performance, and a number of other improvements.

VirtualBox 7.1 Beta 2 includes various bug fixes collected during user testing of the previous beta over the past month. The changes in 7.1 Beta 2 are listed on the VirtualBox.org forums, although these are mostly the changes originally introduced in the previous beta.
