Two women from Seneca Falls arrested after shoplifting

Two Seneca Falls women were arrested Tuesday afternoon after allegedly shoplifting at a local store. Authorities say Mindy L. Aguilera and Jessica A. Dyson were observed taking items from the store's shelves and leaving without paying.

The duo was stopped in a traffic stop shortly after the theft. Both women were taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree petit larceny and conspiracy, both misdemeanors.

Aguilera and Dyson were issued summonses and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date. Waterloo police assisted in the arrest.
