Everett police investigate shooting that leaves four injured

EVERETT – Everett police are investigating a shooting that left four people injured on West Casino Road late Tuesday night.

Shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday, Everett police responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the 800 block of West Casino Road.

When officers arrived, they found two men with apparent gunshot wounds. The Everett Fire Department responded and transported both to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett for treatment.

Witnesses said they heard several shots fired in the area by people who apparently fled before police arrived. A search for the suspects using police dogs and a King County Sheriff's Office helicopter was unsuccessful. Police found numerous shell casings at the scene.

Two other people with gunshot wounds arrived in Providence by private transport. The four injured people appear to be in stable condition.

With the exception of one person, the police assume that the people know each other.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Everett Police Department TIP LINE at (425) 257-8450 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS.
