Two people arrested in connection with the murder of 19-year-old Aaron Neal in Hesperia – VVNG.com

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) – Authorities have arrested two people in connection with the murder of 19-year-old Aaron Neal.

The incident occurred on Monday, August 19, 2024, at approximately 6:48 a.m. in a field southwest of Sultana Street and Escondido Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers at the Hesperia Station discovered Neal's body, which showed signs of trauma. The Sheriff's Homicide Division's Special Investigations Unit took over the investigation.

Investigators concluded that Neal had been shot. As a result of their investigation Demetriel Richine Tyler21, and Elaina Nicole Norman20 people who knew Neal were identified as prime suspects.

A search warrant was executed on Tyler's residence at 9910 Topaz Avenue, where both suspects were arrested without incident. They are currently being held at the High Desert Detention Center on a charge of murder (PC 187).

Norman is being held on $2 million bail, while Tyler is being held without bail. Both are scheduled to appear in court in Victorville on August 22.
