1 injured in shooting at gas station in Atlanta

ATLANTA – Atlanta police are at the scene of a shooting on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive near Westland Boulevard.

Officers were called shortly after 5 p.m. on Wednesday following a report of a shooting.

SKYFOX 5 flew over the crime scene and found investigators focusing on a silver car at the BP gas station.

Officers also apparently searched the woods between the gas station and the Hamilton E. Holmes MARTA station.

According to Atlanta police, officers found one person shot when they arrived.

They were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

The circumstances of the shooting are currently being investigated.

The identity of the victim was not disclosed.
