The Los Angeles Police Department's Homicide Unit is asking for the public's help in finding those responsible for the shooting death of a man at a South Los Angeles gas station in 2023.

On Wednesday, the LAPD again offered a $50,000 reward for anyone with information on the case that could lead to the identification of the person(s) connected to the murder and ultimately an arrest and conviction.

In December 2023, LAPD investigators responded to a fatal shooting at a gas station on the corner of Manchester Avenue and Hoover Street. Police say Marquette Scott, 32, of Victorville, was sitting in his parked car when an unknown suspect approached and shot him.
