Three injured in three-vehicle crash in Randolph County

RENICK, Missouri (KMIZ)

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, three people suffered minor to moderate injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 63 in Randolph County, about a mile east of Renick, on Wednesday.

The report states that a 2015 Chrysler 200 driven by Sarah Dowling, 20, of Moberly was traveling westbound on Business 63/Route NN and failed to yield the right of way to southbound traffic. The Chrysler was struck by a 2016 GMC Yukon driven by Caitlin Magers, 27, of Novinger, which in turn was struck by a 2019 Ford F150 driven by Daniel Hager, 51, of Wellsville.

All three vehicles veered off the left side of the road, the Yukon struck a sign and overturned, the report said. All three drivers were wearing seat belts, the report said.

Hager and Magers were taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia, while Dowling was taken by private vehicle to Moberly Regional Medical Center, the report said. The Chrysler and GMC were total losses, while the Ford had significant damage, the report said.
