MJ: Second half of musical at National Theatre in DC cancelled due to water pipe leak

Due to a water leak, the second half of “MJ: The Musical” at the National Theater in Washington, DC had to be canceled on Tuesday, angering many visitors.

FOX 5's Mikea Turner captured the situation on video during her visit Tuesday. She said it happened around 9 p.m. during the show's break.

The District of Columbia Water and Sewerage Authority said a leak in a three-inch service line at the theater was the cause. The line was shut down to locate the leak and make the repair.

Audiences hope they get a second chance to see the rest of the show. The musical runs until September 8th.
